CORONAVIRUS, 2020

Coronavirus fly through the air with crazy grins and grimaces on their ceramic faces. One even points a tongue out at us. This work was exhibited at the Victoria Gallery & Museum Liverpool towards the end of the pandemic and then purchased for the museum’s Permanent Collection.

SLIPPING THROUGH THE NET, 2020

An old basketball net is re-imagined surrounded by, not practice balls, but ceramic viruses. The virus that got away is the cream Coronavirus poking out its tongue in the corner of the image. Slipping through the next also suggests that maybe we weren’t as attentive tour social media news as we usually are.
